Ruonglevaisuo in Hmar Hills

Chin-Kuki-Mizo group of tribes trace their origin from Ruonglevaisuo. The Hmars believe that this estuary was 'Pielral Kawtsuo' where the dead departs from earth to begin another journey. Ruonglevaisuo (also known to some people as Tipaimukh) is of great cultural importance to the Hmar tribe of North East India.
